The Government of the Republic of Serbia opened the RSD and foreign currency relief account for flood victims and dealing with the aftermath of natural disaster. Financial help is priority for foreign donations. PayPal account for humanitarian aid for flood victims in Serbia is also available. PayPal account for humanitarian aid for flood victims in Serbia is available for donators from 193 countries and regions. Donations are accepted via floodrelief.gov.rs.

The account belongs to the Serbian diplomatic mission in Brussels, and donations are automatically transferred to the special Serbian government account for flood relief.

RSD Account Number: 840-3546721-89, purpose: the elimination of extraordinary circumstances – flooding.

Foreign Currency Account number: 01-504619-100193230-000000-0000 – Ministry of Finance – Treasury, Belgrade – special purpose account for funds for elimination of consequences of floods, IBAN code: RS35908504619019323080.

Bank account of the City of Belgrade and the Secretariat of Finance is 840-744141843-14, model 97, reference number: 39-501-04.

The Serbian Government informed citizens to help affected population in the flooded areas by sending SMS to the number 1003, for all three mobile network operators (Telenor, Telekom and VIP). Message price is 100 dinars, and the funds will be directed send to the special account of the Government of the Republic of Serbia. Only valid for text messages from Serbia.

Serbian Embassies and consulates worldwide gave a possibility of special accounts for relief donations, which will cut the transfer expenses of individual payments. Every payment along with the name and donation amount will to be transferred to the official Government of Serbia Account (Ministry of finance). Financial help is priority for foreign donations, since the dealing with the aftermath of heavy floods is a long term process, and goods and material needs are changing on a daily basis.

If help is donated in goods, please contact Red Cross Organisation, or local commmunity.

Anyone interested in helping affected population in goods can also contact the Red Cross, which is doing distribution of help to those who need. Contact phone is +381(11)303 2125 ext 217 and ext 215.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs asked everyone who wants to deliver humanitarian aid (donations in goods) to Serbia to refer to nearest consular office with this form in order to validate it before sending it to Serbia.
